Radishes: Fun ideas for eating and decorating

Radishes

While radishes are delicious washed, sliced up and dipped in anything from hummus to guacamole, there are also so many amazing uses for radishes. For those of you that subscribe to a CSA, you likely have gotten some radishes or will be soon, so we wanted to provide some ideas for what to do with the radish.

Radish Ricotta Toast: Radishes, ricotta, micro-greens, herbs, salt/pepper and a delicious crostini. A simple and easy hors d’oeuvres.

Radish Arrangement: It doesn’t get any more simple than this. Just be sure you rinse off the radishes and the green’s as they typically come with a coat of dirt.

Radish Raita (sauce/dip): This easy Indian-inspired dip has only a few simple ingredients. Use it with fish or chicken or as a dip with naan or pita bread.

Radish Table Decor: It’s always fun to find new ways to decorate the table - see the picture below. Just tuck in a nicely cleaned radish into the napkin using twine and voila. Beautiful.

Radish Roasted: If you’ve never tried warm radishes, this is your recipe. It doesn’t take too long and the ingredient list is nice and short.
